Built By Me: Web Design Academy is a hands-on web design and coding enrichment program offered by The Academy features a 3-pathway beginner web design program consisting of three separate 6-week learning experiences (18 weeks total), along with beginner-friendly coding workshops designed for students who want to explore coding before enrolling in the full pathway program.
Students learn beginner HTML, CSS, webpage structure, creative design concepts, and hands-on coding skills while building guided coding projects in a supportive environment focused on creativity, confidence, and digital skill development.
Workshop experiences include: Website Creator Workshop (90 Minutes – $35), Creative Web Workshop (2–3 Hours – $65), and Creative Coding Camp (4–5 Hours – $85). Workshops are available in both virtual and in-person formats for students ages 12–18.

Workshop dates may vary based on enrollment and seasonal availability.
Students attend one convenient live session each week, allowing time between classes to practice skills, complete projects, and balance other summer activities.
Students will need a reliable internet connection, a computer, and an active Gmail account. Additional tools, links, and resources will be provided throughout the course.
Students may receive mini projects through Google Classroom to reinforce skills and build confidence outside of class.
By the end of their selected pathway, students will complete a hands-on web design project that demonstrates the skills learned throughout the program. Each pathway features a unique final project designed to match the student's skill level and learning goals.

Built By Me: Web Design Academy Workshops are hands-on beginner-friendly coding experiences designed to introduce students to creative web design, technology, and digital skills in a fun and supportive environment. These workshops are a great option for students and parents who want to explore coding before committing to the full 6-week enrichment pathway.
Students will learn beginner HTML and web design concepts while creating guided mini coding projects using real web design tools. Each workshop introduces students to webpage structure, creative styling, and beginner coding skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Workshop payments are non-refundable within 7 days of the scheduled workshop date. Families may request a one-time transfer to a future workshop date if space is available.
If a workshop is canceled or rescheduled by Built By Me: Web Design Academy, families may select a future workshop date or request a refund.
